This Privacy Policy explains how Offline Puzzles: Brain Games (“the App”) handles information when you use the Android version distributed on Google Play. The App is a collection of puzzle games that you can play without an internet connection and without an account. We collect as little as we can: optional anonymous usage statistics, and nothing else.
The App stores gameplay data locally on your device (not on our own servers), including:
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage erases this local information.
If Share anonymous usage stats is on in Settings (it is on by default), the App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which puzzles are played and where players get stuck. Firebase assigns a random app instance ID and receives:
These events do not include your name, email address, the letters or numbers you enter in a puzzle, or any free text. Firebase Analytics does not collect the Advertising ID.
Turning off Share anonymous usage stats stops the App from sending new events. It does not delete events that were already sent.
Google’s policies and information: Google Privacy Policy, Privacy and security in Firebase, How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
On Android, the App may show ads through Google AdMob: a rewarded ad when you ask for an extra hint, a banner on the puzzle list, and a full-screen ad between puzzles. Ads are not shown in the middle of a puzzle. AdMob may receive the Advertising ID, device information, and whether an ad was shown or tapped. A one-time Remove ads purchase, billed by Google Play, stops the banner and the ads between puzzles. It does not add hints. Google Play processes the payment; we do not receive your card number.
The card games (Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Five-card Draw and Blackjack) use points only. There is no real-money wager and nothing to win.
Google’s advertising information: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect:
When ads are enabled, Google AdMob may use the Advertising ID as described in section 4. We do not operate our own servers for this App, and we do not sell your information. Google processes Firebase Analytics and AdMob data for us as a service provider. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit.
The App is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and you want the related usage data removed, contact us using the details below.
Local game data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Firebase Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in our Firebase project and is then deleted automatically. We take reasonable steps appropriate for a small mobile game, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Google may process Firebase Analytics data on servers outside your country, under Google’s own safeguards and data processing terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, for example if we add ads, purchases or cloud saves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
