1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Book Sort: Color Puzzle (“the App”) handles information when you use the Android version distributed on Google Play. The App is a color-sorting puzzle. You do not need an account. The first time you open the App, a short notice asks you to agree before play begins.

2. Information we store on your device

The App stores gameplay data locally on your device (not on our own servers), including:

Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage erases this local information. A Remove ads purchase can be restored from your Google account after that. Hint packs and unlock packs that were already granted are not granted again.

3. Anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)

While you play, the App uses Google Firebase Analytics to see which levels are started, finished or left, and whether hints, unlocks or extra time were used. Firebase assigns a random app instance ID and receives:

These events do not include your name, email address, or the books on a shelf. Firebase Analytics in this App does not collect the Advertising ID. There is no separate switch to turn these statistics off.

Google’s policies and information: Google Privacy Policy, Privacy and security in Firebase, How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

After you accept the privacy notice, the App may show ads through Google AdMob:

The ad between levels is skipped if you have bought Remove ads, and it is skipped the first time you clear the opening lesson. Rewarded ads stay available after Remove ads, because you ask for those yourself. Where Google requires it, a consent form from Google may appear before ads are requested.

AdMob may receive the Advertising ID, device information, and whether an ad was shown or tapped. We do not receive the content of the ad.

Google’s advertising information: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, AdMob & AdSense policies.

5. Purchases (Google Play)

The shop offers three one-time products, billed by Google Play:

Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive your card number, bank account or Google password. Google tells the App which product was bought and a purchase token. The token is stored on your device only so the same pack is not granted twice. Restore asks Google Play which of these purchases still need to be delivered to this device.

6. App functionality

7. Data we do not collect

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect:

When ads are enabled, Google AdMob may use the Advertising ID as described in section 4. We do not operate our own servers for this App, and we do not sell your information. Google processes Firebase Analytics, AdMob and Play Billing data for us as a service provider. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit.

8. Children

The App is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and you want the related usage data removed, contact us using the details below.

9. Data retention & security

Local game data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Firebase Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in our Firebase project and is then deleted automatically. Purchase records stay with Google Play under Google’s own retention rules. We take reasonable steps appropriate for a small mobile game, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Your choices

11. International processing

Google may process Firebase Analytics, advertising and purchase data on servers outside your country, under Google’s own safeguards and data processing terms.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
